***Please
note that we only use airlines that have climate controlled facilities and
climate controlled cargo planes. Shipping cargo is now safer than it used to be
years ago due to USDA regulations. If you have any doubts about shipping,
please call the airline of choice and find out their specific shipping
procedures. ***

Shipping
by air:
We pre-book the puppy’s
flight in advance so you will know when and where to pick up your puppy at the
airport. We will provide you with detailed information via email and you will
need to read and print off the directions for your records and return the email
signed and dated so we will know that you have read and received the
directions.
Basic
Priority Shipping is $350 for most any USA
destination and everything else needed for the shipping is included in this
fee. Canada, Alaska and kennel size may cause the shipping fee to vary
slightly. The shipping fee covers the appropriate size airline approved crate
(standard size is a 100 series and this is what our shipping fee is based
upon), health certificate, travel bowls, absorbent bedding, extra nourishment, transportation
fees to and from the veterinarian and airport are included. All puppies are
fed, watered and allowed to play / potty before going into their crate. We make
sure that the puppy fits perfectly into his/her new crate and can stand up,
turn around and lay comfortably before he/she leaves on the flight. All flights
are pressurized air crafts. This will help keep your new puppy from getting sick
while traveling. All flights are pre-booked for the shortest flight time
possible. All flights will be monitored closely during extremely hot or cold
weather. We work very closely with the airline to insure that the puppy is not
being placed in any type of danger due to the weather. The BREEDER is no longer
responsible for the health / well-being of the puppy once he/she is released
into the airlines possession.
We use Delta Pets First,
Northwestern and sometimes Continental Airlines. Shipping's are only done by
prepaid method. WE ONLY ACCEPT MONEY ORDERS, CERTIFIED
CASHIERS CHECKS OR DIRECT DEPOSITS FOR SHIPPINGS (these are
traceable methods of payment and this is why we require one of these three
methods).
USDA
regulations require animals be at least 8 weeks old and fully weaned before
they can be shipped via air.
"Carry
On" is also a great method of shipping. If you so choose to use
this method, then it will be you "the new owner" to pre-book the
flight for you and your puppy. Please make sure that you coordinate your
personal flight arrangements to fly into the closest major airport to us which
will be...Charlotte Douglas International and please be sure to allow enough
time to meet with us to pick up your puppy, do all the necessary paperwork and
get back into the airport.
Please note that if you
decide to use this method, then you will need to purchase your own airline
approved crate (usually a 100 series is needed) or let us know if we need to
pick one up for you. The price of the health certificate and crate will then be
added to the balance due of the puppy.
Requirements are as follows:
Your pet must be small
enough to fit comfortably in a kennel under the seat directly in front of you.
Maximum carry-on kennel dimensions are determined by your flight. You must
contact your airline of choice to determine the appropriate kennel size. Your pet must
remain inside the kennel (with door secured) while in the
boarding area (during boarding and deplaning), an airport lounge, and while on board the aircraft. Your pet must be at least 8 weeks of age to fly. You may
not carry on more than one pet. Your pet in-cabin counts as one piece of
carry-on baggage.
Pets
are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
